Now Taking Postpartum, Post-Adoption and Bereavement Clients
**One spot open for Spring 2025!
After having two babies, I had LOTS of self-pressure as a fitness trainer to “get my body back.” After dealing with core/pelvic floor dysfunction, postpartum anxiety, prolapse, and more … well, let’s just say I have realized that there is a HUGE gap in the care for the health of pregnant and postpartum moms.
I aim to bring my extensive (and still growing!) knowledge of movement/functional exercises, and breathwork into this gap, as I add doula work to my life.
WHY hire a doula?
- Mother-baby bonding encouragement
- Newborn care support and education
- Breastfeeding and/or bottle-feeding support
- Sibling adjustment support
- Help finding any needed local support (e.g., parenting, lactation, mental health)
- Adoptive baby integration
- Family adaptation
- Home-cooked meals and/or food prep
- Light household duties

Postpartum
~The Mini: $150, includes three visits, up to 90 minutes each.
(Any visits desired after this will be $35 an hour.)
- Postpartum Planning Visit: Our first visit will ideally be to plan for your postpartum recovery. We will discuss your anticipated needs and make a plan together to best support your wishes.
- After-Birth Visits: Your next visit ideally comes within the first 48 hours of coming home with your little one, so you have support when you most need it. This first visit comes with a Welcome Home package, including Padsicles, sitz-bath herbs, and snacks! The third visit included in this package ideally takes place just before the end of your first week home. It is around this time when you have the biggest shift in hormones and emotions, and I want to be able to support you through that.
- Text and Phone Support: This is included for all clients with scheduled appointments. I will be checking in, and I always welcome texts and calls. Sometimes a friendly chat over morning coffee and maybe a doula tip or two is the best way to start the day. (Available when not with a client in person or picking up my own kiddos, between the hours of 8am and 8pm.)
~Hourly Visits: $35 an hour (What to expect and options available)
- Follow-up Visits: These visits are available for hourly scheduling. They may include help with newborn feeding, making sure everyone gets rest, a kitchen tidy-up or light meal prep for days we are not with you, folding laundry, as well as discussing any worries you have as you settle into this new phase of life.
